 Into Darkness sunk that Official Peter Peter Halloween Shirt franchise. The 09 movies generated some strong buzz. People were excited and the sequel needed to stick that landing. So many Star Trek fans, my friends and I included, said so many times in jest "it better not be a Khan rehash, lol, how dumb would that be?". And then it was a goddamn Khan rehash. A bad one. It very much reminds me of the latest Star Wars trilogy. A fairly strong first movie that generated a lot of buzz and money, a sequel that still made solid money based on the strength of the first but squashed hype. There they diverge in quality (Beyond was actually pretty good, RoS sucked) but the sharp decline in gross follows for both. I really liked the first in the new trilogy. They really killed it with the score and the movie itself was enjoyable as an origin story for the crew. The second movie was forgettable at best and I didn’t even bother with the third.

 Oof, I attended an Beer The Glue Holding This 2020 Shitshow Together Shirt HP themed party and we were sorted based on cupcakes. There are colorings/candies inside which tells you which House you're in. This was super fun as it was just a very small party, but I can't imagine doing it at a wedding. There were way more cupcakes than the attendees at that party, so some of them was a dud. The ones who ate those first were like 'welp, looks like imma need to eat another one' lol. I met my husband when I got a new job at a grocery store and the guy from the deli came up and yelled at me for hanging up on customers when I couldn't figure out the phone transfer process. He was that guy from the deli and anyway we're married now. I literally dread when anyone calls my work and asks to be transferred. I rarely do it and I don’t think I’ve ever done it successfully.
