My boss used to carry around a backpack full of hammers and if you fell sleep at your desk he started banging a hammer on your desk until you woke up and then he would autograph the hammer and give it to you as a gift. We had kidnapping drills one day, where we learned how to ‘not be kidnapped’. He’d just forgotten to tell us he was taking the week off, and then lost his phone in a lake. There were many, many moments like these. Great boss. Genuinely cared about everyone in the company. Occasional moments of brilliance, where he really got things done. But OMG, so many moments of ridiculousness. Great plan if an unarmed kidnapper comes into our suburban office while we’re at our desks. Probably not going to work so well if there isn’t a desk to hang onto. Or if he’s armed. Or if we’re alone. But if that unarmed kidnapper comes in during the middle of the work day, we should all be set! Okay I read your post with a smile, but THIS fucking got me. I didn't realise he was running kidnapping drills for being kidnapped from the fucking office. Holy fuck. Lmfao.

There are colorings/candies inside which tells you which House you're in. This was super fun as it was just a very small party, but I can't imagine doing it at a wedding. I met my husband when I got a new job at a grocery store and the guy from the deli came up and yelled at me for hanging up on customers when I couldn't figure out the phone transfer process. He was that guy from the deli and anyway we're married now. I literally dread when anyone calls my work and asks to be transferred. I rarely do it and I don’t think I’ve ever done it successfully. I give them the right number first and say “and now I’ll try to transfer you! Call that number if I accidentally hang up” pretty sure I hang up every time. My uncle met my aunt while shitting on the side of the road drunk while his friends laughed hysterically, she was walking somewhere that  I don't remember, he than stared at her for a solid minute than passed out. She started laughing and they started dating 2 days later. Anyways now they're married. I had a cold, and went on a date to an Irish pub.
