I think for Nicest Means Teacher Forever T-Shirt my mum, the struggle comes from being able to visualize what metric measurements mean. Totally this. I’m a Northern European living in the UK. My child was born here, and at the hospital weighed and measured in grams and cm. The young midwife didn’t flinch but the older one was trying to convert it to pounds/ounces and inches, looking it up like “ what’s that in pounds”. Imperial doesn’t really mean much to me, I know logically what it is in metric, but as you say I don’t have the reference point. From driving I know the miles reference point but that’s because my car shows miles per hour as well as km per hour. UK measurements are the same as the English language. To us natives, it all makes perfect sense, but to anyone else, it’s just a mess. This. I think in kilograms and centimeters etc. I am 33 so not young! I don’t understand why we are still using miles in our traffic system, at least, not without kilometers alongside?

 Oof, I attended an Beer The Glue Holding This 2020 Shitshow Together Shirt HP themed party and we were sorted based on cupcakes. There are colorings/candies inside which tells you which House you're in. This was super fun as it was just a very small party, but I can't imagine doing it at a wedding.
