It's about a small-town waitress with a It’s Called Splash Damage You Crybabies Suck It Up Or Go Whine To The Cleric Shirt passion for baking who struggles with an abusive husband and an unwanted pregnancy while trying to find happiness and love. It's a sweet and really heart-warming film, and it has some big name stars- Keri Russel, Nathan Fillian, Andy Griffith, but most notably to this post, Adrienne Shelly. Adrienne Shelly was not only a co-star and the writer for Waitress, but this movie was also her directorial cinematic debut as a director. When released in 2007 it was very well received for its heart and unique directorial style. However, Adrienne Shelly was murdered in 2006, three months before it debuted. Her death was first ruled as a suicide by hanging before further investigation showed she was murdered by a stranger who staged her suicide. Waitress was the only film she would get to direct. The Adrienne Shelly Foundation now exists to support women filmmakers, continuing Shelly's legacy. Honestly typing this up is making me a bit teary- Waitress is one of my all-time favorite movies (and a great musical as well), and losing someone like Adrienne Shelly just shows how cruel the world can be sometimes.

 Oof, I attended an Beer The Glue Holding This 2020 Shitshow Together Shirt HP themed party and we were sorted based on cupcakes. There are colorings/candies inside which tells you which House you're in. This was super fun as it was just a very small party, but I can't imagine doing it at a wedding. There were way more cupcakes than the attendees at that party, so some of them was a dud. The ones who ate those first were like 'welp, looks like imma need to eat another one' lol. I met my husband when I got a new job at a grocery store and the guy from the deli came up and yelled at me for hanging up on customers when I couldn't figure out the phone transfer process. He was that guy from the deli and anyway we're married now. I literally dread when anyone calls my work and asks to be transferred. I rarely do it and I don’t think I’ve ever done it successfully. I give them the right number first and say “and now I’ll try to transfer you! Call that number if I accidentally hang up” pretty sure I hang up every time. My uncle met my aunt while shitting on the side of the road drunk while his friends laughed hysterically, she was walking somewhere that  I don't remember, he than stared at her for a solid minute than passed out. She started laughing and they started dating 2 days later. Anyways now they're married. I had a cold, and went on a date to an Irish pub.
