 I would assume that Imperial would remain the Baby Yoda Baby Boo I Am Love Me You Must Shirt de facto measurement system for years, probably decades, and it wouldn't totally die out for generations. I suspect it wouldn't affect people much outside of government manufacturing for a long time.  So my country changed to metric when my dad was a toddler. I'm less than 30. I'm Canadian and was raised in the metric system. I assume it would be similar to how things are here - I drive 80km/h to go to a store that's twenty miles away. My doorways are two meters tall, which is great because I am six feet four inches, myself. I use a liter of milk and two pounds of flour in a particular bread recipe I use. I would be very happy, even though I'd expect the economy to suffer temporarily.

 Oof, I attended an Beer The Glue Holding This 2020 Shitshow Together Shirt HP themed party and we were sorted based on cupcakes. There are colorings/candies inside which tells you which House you're in. This was super fun as it was just a very small party, but I can't imagine doing it at a wedding.
