 2009 was an My Boxer Ate Your Stick Family Halloween Shirt good reboot. People can scream “not my Trek!” All they want, but 2009 was a damn good reboot. But anyway, using prime Spock to create an alternate universe where they can recast the old crew and send them on new adventures was a great way to reignite the franchise. Then, in typical JJ Abrams fashion, they injected a bunch of unearned fan service to bank on nostalgia, mixed in with a heavy dose of 9/11 truther overtones (maybe undertones? Idk whatever thanks anyway Roberto Orci) and created one of the most dithering shitty sequels I’ve ever seen in Into Darkness. The scene where Prime Spock shows up via FaceTime to let the crew know that Kahn is super dangerous is a microcosm of how bad the movie is. This crew doesn’t know who Kahn is because they had never had an encounter with him previously, unlike the original TOS crew.

 Oof, I attended an Beer The Glue Holding This 2020 Shitshow Together Shirt HP themed party and we were sorted based on cupcakes. There are colorings/candies inside which tells you which House you're in. This was super fun as it was just a very small party, but I can't imagine doing it at a wedding. I met my husband when I got a new job at a grocery store and the guy from the deli came up and yelled at me for hanging up on customers when I couldn't figure out the phone transfer process. He was that guy from the deli and anyway we're married now. I literally dread when anyone calls my work and asks to be transferred. I rarely do it and I don’t think I’ve ever done it successfully.
