 Star Trek was Jason Voorhees Halloween No Lives Matter Shirt never "cool," and I mean that in a good way. There were hardly any guns and explosions. It was always about the nitty-gritty interactions of space politics. I mean sure there were some exciting moments, but it was in between the politics. It wasn't the whole point of the show. Modern Star Trek seems to be more about just being a different flavor of Star Wars. The Star Trek movies were obsessed with trying to make everything look cool instead of trying to make it look... well, like Star Trek.  The Defiant exists, so Star Trek can be cool. :) I agree with you though. Star Trek was never an action blockbuster. When it hit critical mass in pop culture was with TNG, the one with long speeches about ethics. I feel like the trek movies could be better with a smaller budget. With a large budget comes the expectation that you will have lots of action. A smaller budget may allow them to have a more "Trek" feeling script.

 Oof, I attended an Beer The Glue Holding This 2020 Shitshow Together Shirt HP themed party and we were sorted based on cupcakes. There are colorings/candies inside which tells you which House you're in. This was super fun as it was just a very small party, but I can't imagine doing it at a wedding. There were way more cupcakes than the attendees at that party, so some of them was a dud. The ones who ate those first were like 'welp, looks like imma need to eat another one' lol. I met my husband when I got a new job at a grocery store and the guy from the deli came up and yelled at me for hanging up on customers when I couldn't figure out the phone transfer process. He was that guy from the deli and anyway we're married now. I literally dread when anyone calls my work and asks to be transferred. I rarely do it and I don’t think I’ve ever done it successfully.
