I like the Kelvin movies in a “dumb fun” kind of way. They aren’t cerebral or philosophical like the TV series can be. They’re fun action movies with likable characters. It’s the type of movie I’d happily watch on a Saturday afternoon. They’re just as dumb and action-focused as the Abrams films, but just not as well produced. I think the current big problem with Star Trek as a movie franchise is that movie executives are expecting these films to gross dollars, and anything less than that is a disappointment. Star Trek, try as they might, is still pretty nerdy.

There are colorings/candies inside which tells you which House you're in. This was super fun as it was just a very small party, but I can't imagine doing it at a wedding. I met my husband when I got a new job at a grocery store and the guy from the deli came up and yelled at me for hanging up on customers when I couldn't figure out the phone transfer process.
